GIVE THEM WHAT THEY NEED

* SPONSOR A CHILD and make a difference in that child's life! Sponsorship of an orphan includes a monthly financial support, and a ministry of ongoing encouragement through letter writing. Sponsorship will provide food, education and spiritual training to these poor and orphaned children. Visit the websites of Vision Trust, Children's Hope International, World Vision, Compassion, World Help, Dillon International, and Children's Hope Chest for further information on sponsorship.

* Collect shoes and socks through Buckner International's "Shoes for Orphans Souls". In November, collect filled shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse "Operation Christmas Child".

Foster Children--collect school backpacks and school suppies in the month of July and August.

Collect gift cards for gifts during Christmas season.

Birthday Buddy Program--Have a birthday party and donate a portion of gifts to foster children.

Go to your local foster organizations to see the needs and lists of volunteer opportunities.

About future drives to collect needed items for orphans--see bulletin board.

If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?
